A full breakfast is served in our Breakfast Room at 8:30 a.m.
We serve juice, cereal, coffee, tea, homemade granola, fresh fruit, baked
goods, and one or more great main dishes from our collected recipes. One
of our guests called breakfast "sumptuous." We think it is important
to take the time to make meals for our guests that bring back memories
of going to grandma's for some, and create new memories for others.
We also serve dinners for larger groups, click for more info: Dinner at our Bed and Breakfast
Blue Ribbon Foods - We've won blue (First Prize) ribbons for our products at the County Fair. Recently we received the "Best in Class" for our Buttermilk Cranberry Hazelnut Scones, and a blue ribbon for Lavender Anise Hazelnut Biscotti made with Pelindaba Farms lavender. We also won blue ribbons for Strawberry Jam, Artichokes, embroidery and wine vinegar.
While the ribbons are nice in part because there are some very good cooks on this island, the best prizes are the comments from our guests. When one recent guest from France said, "This jam tastes just like ma mere’s Jam," there was singing in the kitchen for a week.
We grind our coffee fresh, can our own jams and jellies, use our own honey (when available), bake our own breads, and use fresh local products from our ranch and neighboring farms and islands whenever possible.
