Family Reunions

Our guests have had some wonderful times with their families and friends here at the Ranch on San Juan Island. We provide full breakfast, picnic lunches and dinners, and can help with planning special events and island tours. Our 60 acre working ranch on San Juan Island is ideal for a family reunion.

Highlights of our Facilities

• Our 10 rooms and suites can accommodate 24-28 people. All units have private baths. There are indoor and outdoor meeting spaces.
• We provide a full breakfast every morning. We do our own baking, make our own jam, serve vegetables from our garden and eggs from our own chickens, and fresh fruits and meats from our neighbors' farms.
• We can provide dinners and picnic lunches. An arrival-night barbecue is a popular option.
• On the ranch kids (of all ages) can help gather eggs in the morning, feed the alpacas the sheep, and explore the trails and woods.

One reunion planner said this summer "This was the best reunion we've ever had." (They have them every other year all over the US).

Wedding Events

The Ranch often hosts wedding parties such as the family of the bride, or additional friends and family coming to the island for that special event. We do host weddings up to about 25 people. We can house up to about 25 people, and serve dinners to groups of that size. Larger parties will need to use other island facilities to meet their needs.

Meetings, retreats and workshops

The peace and quiet of the ranch, with comfortable surroundings and high speed wireless internet access can help bring meetings and workshops to new levels of excellence. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners can be provided so everyone can stay focused on the matters at hand. Transportation can be provided to help manage expenses.
